After winning the award for the Variety category, which marked the tenth straight win for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," Jon Stewart was tackled in a harmless prank walking toward the stage by Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon. After Stewart was able to claw and kick his way free he started to give his acceptance speech:
"Oh, I am not in the kind of shape to do a bit with Jimmy Fallon, who is in very good shape. Son of a b***h! Free sandwich after 10. We were told we'd get a free sandwich after 10."
However, while Stewart was recognizing the fellow candidates in the category he let the F-bomb slip out of his mouth. Luckily ABC's telecast was able to bleep out the swear word before it hit the air.
