LinnCo Prices IPO Of 30.25 Mln Shares At $36.50 Per Share - Quick Facts

LINN Energy LLC (LINE: Quote) announced the pricing of the initial public offering of 30.25 million common shares of LinnCo LLC (LNCO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of LINN Energy, at $36.50 per common share.

The common shares are expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Select Market on October 12, 2012 under the ticker symbol "LNCO."

The underwriters have the option to purchase up to an additional 4.53 million common shares from LinnCo, at the same price, to cover over-allotments, if any.

The offering is expected to close on or about October 17, 2012, subject to customary closing conditions.

Analog Devices, Inc. said that its second quarter profit rose slightly from last year, helped mainly by lower income tax expenses even as revenue declined 2%. The company's quarterly earnings per share, excluding items, came in line with analysts' expectations. However, the company forecast third quarter revenue and earnings below analysts' current consensus estimates. While buying interest was relatively subdued, stocks moved modestly higher over the course of the trading day on Tuesday. While a recent series of scandals have caused headaches for the White House, the results of a Washington Post-ABC News poll released Tuesday suggest that the news has not had an impact on President Barack Obama's approval rating. The poll showed that 51 percent of Americans approve of the way Obama is handling his job as president compared to 44 percent that disapprove.
