The Strokes have unveiled, "Fast Animals," the B-side from their latest single, "All the Time." The track is set to hit on Record Store Day, April 20, along with the release of a limited edition seven-inch.
The track, according to NME, is a "sped-up version of Comedown Machine album track 'Slow Animals.'" The single is available for streaming at the Strokes fansite She's Fixing Her Hair now.
The band currently has no plans to tour on the back of Comedown Machine, though bassist Nikolai Fraiture says he hopes the members can work something out soon to hit the road.
Comedown Machine will be the Strokes fifth studio album following Is This It (2001), Room On Fire (2003), First Impressions of Earth (2006) and Angles (2011).
