John Mayer is heading out on the road for his first tour in three years. Mayer has announced a U.S. summer tour from July to October, which officially kicks off July 6 in Milwaukee.
The tour will see Mayer traverse the country, with shows slated for Alabama, New Orleans, Texas, California and New York, before coming to a stop at the Hollywood Bowl on October 5.
Mayer will also head north of the border to Toronto on August 14 as well as to South America in September.
Mayer recently told Rolling Stone that he is eager to get back to work:
"There were days and weeks and literally months of not doing anything, and running out of things to do when there's nothing to do. For me to get back onstage and play again, it's just like, Oh right, this is what I'm able to do."
