The Parent Television Council has taken Ke$ha to task for drinking her own urine during her MTV reality show, Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life. In a letter to its supporters, the censorship advocacy group called the show "disgusting" and "vile."
The PTC added that the act highlights the need for greater choice on behalf of cable subscribers:
"Why should we have to pay for this kind of garbage just so we can get access to Discovery, Disney, or the Golf channel? It's outrageous — and it shouldn't be that way. Consumers deserve choice. We should all have the ability to choose and pay for only the channels we want to watch . . . but the cable industry won't let that happen without a fight."
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Kesh admitted that, as a beverage, urine is "pretty gross."
