A Japanese seven-inch single of Pink Floyd's last single with Roger Waters, featuring the A-side "Not Now John" and the B-side "Your Possible Pasts," has sold for $3,000 on eBay. The cuts came from the band's 1983 effort The Final Cut.
The track, according to Henne Music, "deals with war and criticism of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, as well as general criticisms of the greed and corruption that Waters saw as dangers to society."
Highlights of the seven-inch include a rare white CBS label, reports Ultimate Classic Rock.
The Final Cut, a virtual solo record from Waters, was recorded as the band was on the verge of splitting up. During the recording sessions, founding keys man Richard Wright was kicked out of the band.
