Darius Rucker pushed the release of his new single, "Radio," with two television appearances in New York City on Thursday.
The South Carolina native performed the song—the second single off his No. 1-debuting album True Believers—on NBC's Today Show and CBS' Late Show with David Letterman.
The release followed on from the success of the album's first single, "Wagon Wheel," which debuted and held the No. 1 chart spot for two weeks and has already been certified platinum by the RIAA.
Rucker, who was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry last October, will be performing at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday, July 16. He recently wrapped up the first leg of his True Believers tour, and will continue to tour in support of the album in the fall, with upcoming tour dates soon to be released.
