Scotty McCreery will play a private concert for service members and their families at the Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota on July 24.
"It's because of the men and women who defend this country, and the sacrifices of their families, that we are able to wake up everyday with the freedoms that we often take for granted," McCreery said in a statement. "I'm grateful to the USO for allowing me the opportunity to say 'thank you' to our troops and their families."
One day before the USO show, McCreery hits Minot, North Dakota to play the North Dakota State Fair. His current North American tour takes him through November 1 when he'll play Danville, Kentucky's Norton Center for the Arts Centre College.
The 19-year-old's sophomore album is due in October.
