Japan is on Monday scheduled to release retail sales data for June, setting the pace for a light day in Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Retail sales are expected to rise 0.8 percent on month and 2.1 percent on year after climbing 1.5 percent on month and 0.8 percent on year in May. Sales from large retailers are tipped to jump an annual 3.6 percent after easing 0.4 percent in the previous month.
Singapore will provide producer price figures for June; in May, PPI was flat on month and down 5.0 percent on year.
