Miley Cyrus Responds To O'Connor Open Letter

Miley Cyrus has responded on Twitter to Sinead O'Connor, who posted an open letter to the 20-year-old warning her that she might "obscure [her] talent by allowing [her]self to be pimped."

O'Connor posted the letter in response to media inquires about Cyrus's new video "Wrecking Ball," which Cyrus told Rolling Stone was inspired by the singer's "Nothing Compares 2 U" vid.

Instead of fielding the media requests, O'Connor posted the open letter in the "spirit of motherliness and with love" toward Cyrus.

O'Connor warns Cyrus that the music business "will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think its what YOU wanted . . . and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, 'they' will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone."

Cyrus then responded several hours later on Twitter by saying "Before Amanda Bynes.... There was....," implying that O'Connor is crazy like the notorious Bynes.
