The-Dream Says Writing For Women Is Easier

The-Dream has dished about working with some of pop's leading ladies, noting that he prefers to work with women rather than with men.

The Grammy-winning producer and songwriter spoke with Vlad TV about working with Beyonce, Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige. He explained:

"Writing from that aspect isn't hard at all. I'm very much a man's man when it comes to anything, but that's just a gift I have. It's not something I constantly think about -- how to relate."

He added: "It's just a gift . . . It's probably harder to write a male song."

Dream-produced hits include "Single Ladies," "Umbrella" and "Just Fine."
