An index measuring non-manufacturing business activity in China came in at a seasonally adjusted score of 54.6 in December, the latest survey from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing revealed on Friday.
That remains comfortably above the boom-or-bust score of 50 that separates expansion from contraction, although the December reading is down sharply from 56.0 in November.
Among the individual components, services were at 52.5, while new orders came in at 51.0 and input prices jumped to 56.9.
