Last week Josh Thompson performed for Musicians on Call, a charity that brings music to the bedsides of the hospitalized. Thompson hit up the Nashville campus of the VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System to bring some joy the ill.
He went from room to room at the institution playing some of his hit songs, including "Way Out Here" and "Beer on the Table."
Since 1999 Musicians on Call has performed for over 400,000 sick individuals. Other country artists who have performed for Musicians on Call include Kelly Clarkson, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Brooks & Dunn, Kellie Pickler and Trace Adkins.
Thompson is currently on the road, his next date comes March 13 at Lafayette, Indiana's Elliott Hall of Music.
