German manufacturing sector turnover increased at a faster rate in July, a report from German statistical office DESTATIS showed Monday.
Manufacturing turnover rose by a seasonally and working day adjusted 1 percent month-over-month in real terms in July. In June, manufacturing turnover had recovered by 0.6 percent.
Domestic sales grew 1.7 percent and international sales rose 0.4 percent in July.
On a year-over-year basis, manufacturing sales climbed 4 percent in July following the 2.6 percent rise in June. Domestic sales rose 2.3 percent and international sales grew 5.8 percent.
In the January to July period, manufacturing turnover increased 3.5 percent year-over-year.
