Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch is throwing his celebrity behind the new Christian film called Holy Ghost. Speaking with Variety, the hard rocker says that the movie ought to open up the minds of the unfaithful.
"Christians unfortunately have been given a bad rap," he began.
"I'm excited for real people to be able to talk about faith and not scare people away from it . . . It's all about love in meeting God and having our eyes opened."
The film consists of interviews with religious figures like William P. Young and Heaven is for Real producer DeVon Franklin, as well as musicians such as Lenny Kravitz.
Production of the film was funded fully on Kickstarter, raising $360,000 in 45 days.
Holy Ghost will be available on DVD beginning September 16. It's out now via iTunes.
