The list of Black Friday Record Store Day exclusive releases is beginning to roll out as special collectible vinyl offerings from David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and Joe Satriani have been announced.
Bowie is releasing Legacy's Black Friday flagship title, an exclusive 10-inch single that features his new compilation's previously unreleased track "Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)" backed with "Tis a Pity She's a Whore."
Hendrix's "Hear My Music," a limited-edition, individually numbered double-album, is an "authorized bootleg" pressed on 200-gram audiophile vinyl and including what Legacy Recordings promises is "a treasure trove of unreleased Jimi Hendrix studio recordings from 1969."
Satriani is offering a 30th-anniversary edition of the five-song EP that led to his first record deal, the Joe Satriani EP, which has been remastered for 180-gram vinyl. Copies will be individually numbered.
