Jessie J canceled a gig at Bristol's Summer Sessions just hours before she was scheduled to go on stage. Jess posted pics to Instagram of herself in a hospital, although it's not clear what ailment she's suffering from.
"I'm going to be offline for a few days and I wanted to show you why," she captioned the pics.
"I don't often share personal stuff (especially about my health) anymore I just get on with it secretly but I wanted to share with you before someone else might and it gets twisted and exaggerated into something different or worse."
The gig cancelation came after her recovery took longer than expected.
"I have been medically advised to cancel my shows this weekend. I am simply in no way to perform."
According to organizers, those who purchased tickets will get full refunds.
