Morrissey performed his rendition of the Waylon Jenning's song "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way," during a concert in Visalia, California on August 29.

"Lord, it's the same old tune / Fiddle and guitar / Where do we take it from here? Rhinestone suits and big shiny cars, it's been the same way for years," crooned Morrissey.

Although the cover may come as a shock to some, Stereogum writes that Moz executed it well.

"Though Morrissey infused it with a very Smiths sound instead of a pure country one, they share the same rebellious ethos, and the cover comes off exceedingly well."

Radio.com adds that "Morrissey, wearing a patently ridiculous spandex zip-up jumpsuit, adopts a believable country twang and powers through the song."
