Kelly Clarkson has canceled six dates of her Piece by Piece tour, blaming the cancelations on a doctor ordered break. Clarkson posted the news via Twitter.
"So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates," she began. "This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice!"
"I can't wait to get healthy and see y'all on the road soon. I hate cancelling, and I am truly sorry to my fans that have been excited to see this show. Please know that I never cancel anything unless it's absolutely necessary," she added.
The cancelations include two dates in Virginia, two in Florida, one in North Carolina and one in New Jersey.
Clarkson is scheduled to resume her tour at Kanata, Ontario's Canadian Tire Centre on October 1.
