Several rare classic rock items including a set of the Beatles drum skins and Elvis Presley's gold plated piano are due to hit the auction block soon. The auction, hosted by Julien's Auction House, is set to take place on November 7.

The Beatles lot will include the drum skins featured on Ringo Starr's kit played during the group's legendary performance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

They include the band's classic logo. The auction house has placed no final sale estimate of this lot.

Elvis' legendary gold leafed piano, however, is expected to take anywhere from $500,000 to $700,000 at the auction. The instrument was a prominent feature at Graceland before Presley's death and he purchased it as a gift for his mother in 1955.
