Metallica have revealed some new details about their forthcoming new book. The volume, titled Metallica: Back to the Front, will detail the creation and support behind the band's legendary 1986 debut album, Master of Puppets.
"We're pretty sure it will be worth the wait as the book is chock full of exclusive intensive interviews with all of us as we spent countless hours with Matt digging deep in our memory banks for stories, anecdotes, tidbits and tales from the studio, the road and beyond," Metallica wrote in a statement.
The new book is set for release sometime in the spring of 2016 and the copy has been penned by music journalist Matt Taylor. The metal legends are also currently in the studio writing and recording for the follow-up to their 2013 effort Death Magnetic.
