Metallica have announced plans to offer a free webcast of their sold-out pre-Super Bowl performance at AT&T Park, dubbed "The Night Before."

"The concert has been sold out for months, but we don't want anyone to be left out," Metallica announced on their website. "So spend Super Bowl eve with us, no matter where you are that night!"

The 1080p FullHD live stream will be available on mobile and desktop devices at webcast.livemetallica.com.

Metallica are also promising updates on the stage and production at the ballpark, as well as rehearsal extras - which will be available on the same streaming site as well as the band's social media.

Cage the Elephant will provide support. Metallica are set to take the stage at approximately 8:30 p.m. PST at AT&T Park.
