Janis Joplin's Texas childhood home is on the market for $500,000, according to the Guardian.
The home, which is located in Port Arthur, is 1,300 square foot (121 sq m) with a small front porch. The lucky new homeowner who buys the house will also get a historical marker from the Texas Historical Commission and the musician's autograph, which is carved into the timbers inside.
"The owners have had people come from all over the world. They come from Europe, Australia. They've had people offer them $2,000 to sleep on Janis Joplin's bedroom floor," she said. The owners, however, did not accept these offers.
Joplin's Porsche was also put up for auction in New York City last December and ended up selling for $1.76 million.
