Janet Jackson, Pearl Jam, Journey, Among 2017 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Nomine

The list of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees for 2017 has been published. Among the astounding list of iconic artists, mega-pop star Janet Jackson has made the cut.

The Hall of Fame voting body consists of over 800 artists, historians, and music insiders. However, now for the fifth year in a row, fans will also have a say of gets inducted into the Hall of Fame. The fans can cast their vote on Rolling Stone's website. To be eligible, artists must have released their first album or single in 1991 or earlier.

Other artists nominated include Pearl Jam, Journey, The Zombies, Joan Baez, Bad Brains, and MC5 to name but a few. Fans have from now until December 6 to cast their votes. Final cuts will be announced in late December. The induction will take place in April of next year.
