Green Day recently urged their fans to stop using their phones at their concerts. The plea was made during a recent Q&A event in London where frontman Billy Joe Armstrong spoke about a wide range of topics.

The Daily Star reports Armstrong stated, "at our shows I see lot of people holding up cell phones. You can look at a screen at home; you can look at your computer or your phone anywhere."

"You can take your picture but let's have eye contact, let's have a human experience right now you can't capture on a cell phone," Armstrong continued. "I feel like a little more human contact is good."

During the Q&A, Armstrong also gave his opinions about the recent victory of Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential election. He compared Trump to Hitler and called for "something drastic" to remove him from office.
