European Economics Preview: UK Nationwide House Price Data Due

House price data from the UK is due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, UK Nationwide house price data is due. Economists forecast house prices to rise 1.9 percent annually in June, following a 2.1 percent rise in May.

In the meantime, Destatis publishes Germany's import prices for May. Import prices are forecast to gain 4.6 percent on a yearly basis in May compared to 6.1 percent rise in April.

Also, Swiss UBS consumption indicator is due for May at 2.00 am ET.

At 2.45 am ET, the French statistical office Insee is scheduled to release consumer confidence survey data is due. The consumer sentiment index is forecast to rise to 103 in June from 102 in May.

At 3.00 am ET, retail sales from Spain and unemployment from Hungary are due. Spain's retail sales are forecast to advance 2.2 percent year-on-year after rising 1.8 percent in April.

At 4.00 am ET, European Central Bank is scheduled to issue euro area money supply data for May. Economists forecast M3 to climb 5 percent year-on-year, slightly faster than the 4.9 percent rise in April.

At 5.00 am ET, Istat is scheduled to issue Italy's flash consumer prices for June. Economists forecast inflation to remain unchanged at 1.4 percent in June.
