Yen Retreats Against Majors

The Japanese yen retreated from early highs against other major currencies in the Asian session on Friday.

The yen fell to 114.63 against the Swiss franc, from an early 1-week high of 113.74.

Against the euro and the Canadian dollar, the yen dropped to 131.62 and 90.75 from an early 4-day highs of 131.61 and 89.99, respectively.

The yen slipped to 148.00 against the pound, from an early high of 146.61.

Against the U.S. and the Australian dollars, the yen edged down to 110.50 and 88.33 from an early 3-day highs of 109.55 and 87.67, respectively.

If the yen extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 115.00 against the franc, 133.00 against the euro, 91.00 against the loonie, 149.00 against the pound, 112.00 against the greenback and 89.00 against the aussie.
