Consumer confidence in New Zealand ebbed in the fourth quarter of 2017, the latest survey from Westpac Bank showed on Tuesday with an index score of 107.4.
That's down from 112.4 in the three months prior, although it remains above the 100-point mark that separates optimism from pessimism.
The bank pointed to uncertainty in the political arena as the Labour Party took over after nearly 10 years of center-right control.
