Opera has become the first major browser to carry a built-in crypto wallet, which will spare internet users the trouble of installing separate Dapp browsers or crypto wallet extensions. Israeli Crypto Exchange Bancor Loses $13.5 Mln In Cryptos To Hackers

Israeli decentralized cryptocurrency exchange Bancor said it lost nearly $13.5 million worth of cryptocurrencies to hackers after a wallet used to upgrade some smart contracts was compromised. In a tweet, Bancor wrote, "We take this incident very seriously. We are committing every resource to resolving it, getting the network back online and tracking down the criminals involved." Earth Dollar Partners Blockchain Associations To Launch Crypto Payment System

Earth Dollar is partnering U.S. Blockchain Association, Nevada Blockchain Association (NBA) and Associations Worldwide to make cryptocurrency spendable anywhere through point-of-sale (POS) locations, including brick-and-mortar as well as online retailers. 'Bitcoin Maven' Gets A Year In Prison For Bitcoin Money Laundering

A California-based bitcoin trader, called as "Bitcoin Maven" was sentenced to one year and a day in federal prison in bitcoin money laundering case. In a statement, the US Department of Justice said that Theresa Lynn Tetley, 50, admitted to operating an unlicensed bitcoin-for-cash exchange business and laundering bitcoin that was represented to be proceeds of narcotics activity.
