New Zealand Building Permits Climb 7.8% In August

The total number of building permits issued in New Zealand advanced a seasonally adjusted 7.8 percent on month in August, Statistics New Zealand said on Friday.That follows the downwardly revised 10.8 percent contraction in July (originally -10.7 percent).In August 2018, 3,075 new dwellings were consented, including 1,880 houses, 507 apartments, 497 townhouses, flats, and units and 191 retirement ...
