Stocks have shown a significant rebound over the course of the trading day on Monday after coming under considerable pressure early in the session. The major averages have bounced well off their worst levels of the day.
Currently, the major averages are turning in a mixed performance. While the Dow is down 17.32 points or 0.1 percent at 24,083.19, the Nasdaq is up 20.82 points or 0.3 percent at 6,931.48 and the S&P 500 is up 0.80 points or less than a tenth of a percent at 2,600.75.
