Prince Songs See Spike In Sales After Grammy Salute

Sales of Prince's songs have seen a spike after the late iconic singer received a Grammy salute, Billboard reports.

The CBS concert special "Let's Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince" have fueled the sales Prince's songs. The show was recorded in January and broadcast on April 21, the four-year anniversary of Prince's death.

Prince's catalog of songs, along with those tracks performed on the show, recorded an 815% sales gain on April 21 in the U.S. according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

In total, the songs sold just over 10,000 downloads, up from 1,000 on April 20.

Prince's biggest-selling songs on Tuesday were "Purple Rain," "Let's Go Crazy," "Little Red Corvette," "I Would Die 4 U" and "Kiss."
