The Weeknd has released a video for a remix of "Blinding Lights," featuring Chromatics.
The original track hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 at the end of March and reigned for two weeks. The song is now ranked No. 2 on the list.
The video was directed by Chromatics and its logo animation was done by Jarred Hageman. The visual begins with the Weeknd speaking about how he got stomped out by several men in a nightclub. A dazed Weeknd is then seen sitting at a table.
The remix features Ruth Radelet joining the chorus with her silky vocals. The visual ends with the Weeknd listening to an apologetic voicemail from an ex-girlfriend, who yearns for his affection.
On Monday, The Weeknd made a cameo on TBS' animated series "American Dad!." In addition to executive producing the episode, he premiered his song, "I'm a Virgin."
