Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage," featuring Beyoncé, has risen to the top spot on Billboard's Songs of the Summer chart dated June 13.
"Savage" rose to No. 1 after coming in at No. 2 in the annual survey's first week of 2020, when Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande's "Rain on Me" topped the chart.
Billboard noted "Savage" has reached the top of the Songs of the Summer chart even without having topped the weekly Hot 100 during each of the season's first two weeks.
"Savage" has come in at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in each of the last two weeks after topping the chart dated May 30.
The Songs of the Summer chart tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weekly streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Billboard Hot 100 chart from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
"Rain On Me" dipped to No. 2 on the Songs of the Summer chart, while DaBaby's "Rockstar," featuring Roddy Ricch, holds at No. 3, The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" remains at No. 4, and Doja Cat's "Say So" repeats at No. 5.
