Mariah Carey's new song "Save the Day" made its television debut at the 2020 U.S. Open Women's Final.
Carey filmed a special performance that aired on Saturday, September 12.
"Thank you @USOpen for this amazing TV Premiere of my song 'Save The Day.' Couldn't be more honored and moved to share the message of the song with these incredible female champions," Carey wrote on Twitter.
The video was filmed at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. It shows Carey sitting on top of a car and watching footage of women's tennis players as she sings.
"Save the Day," featuring Lauryn Hill, is the first single off Carey's upcoming album The Rarities, which will drop on October 2.
Meanwhile, Naomi Osaka won the women's final, defeating Victoria Azarenka.
