Avril Lavigne has announced a one-night only livestream concert to raise funds to fight against Lyme disease.

The livestream benefit concert presented by Global Lyme Alliance is scheduled for October 24 at 5 p.m. PT. All proceeds from the concert will be donated to The Avril Lavigne Foundation and the Global Lyme Alliance.

The Grammy nominee is expected to perform songs from throughout her career, including songs off her 2019 album, Head Above Water.

"I'm so excited for fans and friends from all over the world to join me and my very special guests for #FightLyme, which will benefit the Lyme community," Lavigne said in a statement. "It's going to be an evening to remember full of hope, great music and exciting surprises!"

In 2015, Lavigne revealed that she had been diagnosed with Lyme disease after contracting the disease from a tick bite the previous spring. She was "bedridden for five months."

Tickets for the show are available for purchase at www.avrillavigne.com.
