Evanescence have released a brand-new track from their upcoming 5th studio album, The Bitter Truth.
Titled "Yeah Right," the new track follows three previously released singles from the same album, "Wasted on You," "The Game Is Over," and "Use My Voice."
"Someday we'll get paid/More than it was worth to sell our souls/Yeah right," croons Amy Lee, the frontwoman of the band; the song explores the theme of being a part of the music industry, in which there exists a near-constant tug of far between efforts to make more money and artistic freedom.
The new album is slated for release on March 26, 2021, and is available for pre-order now.
