Foo Fighters shared new single "No Son Of Mine" from their upcoming album Medicine At Midnight at midnight on New Year's Eve.
"This is the kind of song that just resides in all of us and if it makes sense at the time, we let it out," the rock band's frontman Dave Grohl said in a statement.
He added, ""Lyrically it's meant to poke at the hypocrisy of self righteous leaders, people that are guilty of committing the crimes they're supposedly against."
"No Son of Mine," is the second single released from the 9-track album. The first was "Shame Shame".
Medicine at Midnight, the band's 10th studio album, is scheduled for release on February 5.
