Lil Nas X has asked his fans to buy his new children's book "C Is for Country," which was officially released on Tuesday, January 5.
"My children's book 'C Is For Country' is out now!!!! Go get it please I really need to pay my rent!" the singer jokingly tweeted.
The book was illustrated by Theodore Taylor III. The cover of the book features the singer in a colorful outfit, holding a guitar and riding his horse. The book is being published under Random House Kids, a division of Penguin Random House.
The story follows Lil Nas X and Panini the pony "on a joyous journey through the alphabet from sunup to sundown," according to the Random House's website.
Random House revealed some of the text from the first few pages of the book: "A is for adventure. Every day is a brand-new start! B is for boots—whether they're big or small, short or tall. And C is for country."
