Brandi Carlile has cast a haunting spell over the John Denver classic "Take Me Home, Country Roads."
Featured in a preview for the CBS show "Clarice," the cover was created in collaboration with Carlile and her songwriting partners, Josh Neumann & twin musical artists, Phil and Tim Hanseroth.
"It's no secret that John Denver is a favorite in this household. Just ask Eva!" Carlile wrote alongside the preview, which she shared via Instagram.
In the same post, she goes onto add that the "dark" cover is "so 2020."
It remains unclear as to whether or not the song will be featured in a full-length episode of the series, which is set to premier on February 11.
