Dan + Shay shared a cover of Morgan Wallen's "Sand In My Boots" on social media last Thursday (January 21).
"Can't stop listening to 'sand in my boots' so figured we'd sing it for y'all," Dan + Shay captioned the clip. "Congrats to our pal Morgan Wallen on the huge album launch."
The country duo also noted that "songs like this" are one of the reasons why they "fell in love with country music."
Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney performed the song a cappella. Mooney displayed his vocal range, while Smyers anchored the arrangement on low harmonies.
"Sand In My Boots" is the first track on Side-A of Wallen's chart-topping Dangerous: The Double Album,
Dan + Shay, who recently celebrated their eighth career No.1 and fifth consecutive chart-topper with "I Should Probably Go To Bed," are currently working on the follow-up to their self-titled studio album.
