Halsey, who canceled her Manic Tour just days before announcing she is pregnant, has denied rumors that she called off the trek due to her pregnancy.
"And just so we're aware, if it wasn't for Covid I woulda done the tour pregnant," Halsey said on Twitter.
The alt-pop superstar on January 27 revealed that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend and screenwriter Alev Aydin.
A few days before that announcement, Halsey canceled her long-postponed Manic World Tour due the pandemic.
"Safety is the priority. I wish things were different," the singer then tweeted. "I love you. Dreaming of seeing your faces again."
Halsey had performed a dozen Manic Tour shows in Europe when the pandemic hit the United States hard. She was forced to postpone the North American leg of the tour to the summer.
