A special photo book paying tribute to late guitar hero Eddie Van Halen will be published in June.
The book, by renowned rock and roll photographer Ross Halfin, is titled "Edward Van Halen by Ross Halfin."
The photo book is being published by Rufus Publications. The publishers describe it as "a 356-page celebration of rocks iconic guitar player, a man who changed the way rock music would be played forever."
The extensive photo book features many classic and unseen shots chosen by Ross from his personal archive. Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi, who was Van Halen's friend and fellow guitar player, has written an introduction for the book.
Respected journalist Mark Blake provides a career essay on Van Halen's highly successful career.
The book comes in two versions. The standard edition in a cloth-bound slipcase, and a limited-edition. 250 books in this category are numbered and signed by Halfin, featuring a 3D lenticular cover and aluminum guitar-shaped slipcase.
