Miranda Lambert announced on Thursday that her new collaborative album, The Marfa Tapes, will be released on May 7.

The 37-year-old country superstar recorded the music in Marfa, Texas, teaming up with country music singer-songwriter Jack Ingram and Grammy award-winning musician Jon Randall.

This is not the first time the three artists are joining hands to create music. They have written many songs together, including "Tin Man" and "Tequila Does."

"Announcing The Marfa Tapes. A project by @jackingram, @jonrandallmusic and me. Recorded in Marfa, TX," Lambert wrote on Instagram.

She added, "You can hear the wind blowing, the cows mooing... We wanted you to feel like you were right there with us, sitting around the campfire, escaping the world, disappearing into the music."
