Phoebe Bridgers teamed up with Jackson Browne for a new version of "Kyoto," a song from her second album, Punisher.

Briders and Browne recorded the remix, a "sadder version" of the song, for the Spotify Singles series. It features an acoustic guitar instrumental, with Browne coming up with backing vocals in the chorus.

Bridgers recorded a cover of John Prine's "Summer's End" as well, teaming up with Maria Taylor, for the Spotify Singles series.

Bridgers performed "Kyoto" with Browne recently at a 2021 Tibet House U.S. Benefit Concert. She has earned four Grammy nominations this year, including Best New Artist, Best Alternative Album (for Punisher), and Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance (both for "Kyoto").
