Stocks remain mostly negative in mid-day trading on Thursday after moving to the downside early in the session. The tech-heavy Nasdaq is leading the way lower once again after plunging by 2 percent on Wednesday.
Currently, the major averages are all in negative territory, although the Nasdaq is underperforming its counterparts. While the Nasdaq is down 129.21 points or 1 percent at 12,832.68, the Dow is down 92.63 points or 0.3 percent at 32,327.43 and the S&P 500 is down 16.21 points or 0.4 percent at 3,872.93.
