Rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again was reportedly arrested by the FBI in Los Angeles on Monday, March 22.
According to TMZ, the Baton Rouge-based rapper was pulled over by Los Angeles Police in connection with an outstanding federal warrant. However, he attempted to drive away and then later tried to run away on foot once the vehicle was stopped.
Reports say LAPD officers were forced to set up a perimeter and employ a K9 unit to catch him. Police allegedly discovered weapons inside YoungBoy's vehicle, but it was unclear if they belonged to him.
In September, YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was arrested in a Baton Rouge parking lot after police found handguns, rifles, drugs, $47,000 in cash, multiple pieces of jewelry and a $300,000 check made out to the rapper.
The artist was charged with possession of a schedule 1 drug as well as distributing and manufacturing of schedule 2 and 4 drugs. There was no mentions of firearms charges following that arrest.
