Grateful Dead are gearing up to release the 50th-anniversary-reissue of their self-titled live album.

Released in 1971, the album is better known among fans as "Skull & Roses," as it features the now-iconic cover art of a human skull donning a bouquet of roses on its head.

The expanded edition is expected to feature, in addition to 10 previously unreleased tracks, the band's live performances from New York and San Francisco in March and April of 1971. The new collection will also feature 11 tracks that have been newly remastered.

To be released on June 25, the new collection will be available digitally, as a two-CD set, as a double-LP black vinyl, and as a limited black-and-white propeller vinyl.
