Megan Thee Stallion has revealed that she is taking a break from music to recharge and "will be back when it's time."
The Grammy-winning rapper disclosed the news to her fans on Instagram on Thursday, changing her profile picture.
Megan also shared an animated video of a lab where a computerized message for her fans reads, "Megan Thee Stallion is recharging! Due to the demands of the Hot Girl lifestyle Meg has now entered a period of regeneration to prepare for what's next. ....In her absence; mgmt will manage all social posting on behalf of Thee Hot Girl Coach. [[Thee Hotties]] lead a brave //RESISTANCE in anticipation for the return of their Fearless Captain!"
Chloe Bailey of Chloe x Halle, Syd, Karlae were among those who responded positively to Megan's decision.
Indicating that the break from music is only temporary, the "WAP" singer tweeted, "I'll be back when it's time."
