Lady A have announced that their new album, What a Song Can Do (Chapter One), will be released on June 25.
The seven-track album, produced by Dann Huff and with each track penned by at least one member of the band, reinvigorates their signature rich vocal harmony, vivid emotional writing and a smooth fusion of Country, rock and pop.
"There's an interdependence that we have with each other, and music is at the center of that to me," said Hillary Scott, the co-lead singer of Lady A.
She added, "We are all living in the now together…we're all a work in progress, and that is what we wanted to share with these songs on the first chapter."
What A Song Can Do (Chapter One) is available for pre-order alongside its new track "Things He Handed Down."
"Like a Lady," "Talk of This Town," the title track, "Fire," "Chance of Rain" and "Worship What I Hate" are the other songs on the album.
